Hi, been a while...and no I wasn't dead!
Just a bit busy and hurt, well today was supposed to be my first exam. However, I got into a little accident last night while working. Blogging so I don't have to retell what happened...
Ok, well from the beginning.
Last night I was working and it was quite busy and as we began closing up around 9 after the last customer, I began finishing the last of the dishes. I was cleaning a tray of glass cups, these cups are real fragile and break easily. Well yeah, first cup was fine, the second I was cleaning and it shattered on me.
Blood spewed everywhere and I could see a great gash near the side of my palm. I was so shocked and as many desperate thoughts entered my mind my first instinct was to use the towel on my apron and stop the blood. Everyone was in shock and Glen used another towel to wrap my wrist and held my hand above my heart. Yuichi (Manager) called 111 and as I sat there lightheaded, I was thinking why God would do this. What is he trying to do? I have an exam tomorrow and it's English...I haven't really studied for it and I got Physics exam the day after. What was He trying to tell me? Thoughts kept running around, and eventually the ambulance came and I was examined. They said it was a deep flesh wound but no serious tendon was cut. They took me to the 24hr East Care centre and I called my mum to come. Yuichi looked real worried but relieved it wasn't a serious injury. Family came and waited...Yuichi and Glen left and we waited for the doctor. Ok, rant coming up.
It wasn't considered very serious and so I waited inline until it was my turn...which was like an hour and half wait...Zz so tired, and only 1 doctor on duty at the time...Had to keep my hand above my heart for the entire time cause it throbbed when I just put it down...Also so hungry... -.-
at like...11, got into the room...and waited longer -_- so I lay down on the bed to keep my arm up...
Doctor finally came and examined my situation...and then talked me through on what was going to happen. Got local anesthetic on my hand...oh my, hurt sooooooo much just touching my raw flesh.
Got 4 stitches done, don't wanna describe cause hand hurts and I know some of you reading this are weak to blood!! hehe you know who you are~ and yeahh, upload photos later yo!
Won't write english cause I hurt my writing hand... Gonna get my derived grade for that, Merit - Achieved! So that's not too bad I guess :) Physics tomorrow too...z gotta study that today.
But what I really want to tell you guys in this post is that I reckon this is all part of God's great plans. I mean that this injury happened for a reason, I had time to think about it and it wasn't a serious cut. I just can't write and need stitches. God kept me safe and he wants me to know what his thoughts are right now. I prayed to God about my future, how I would be able to glorify His name being a dentist. I find not much reasons how I can glorify him...but he's telling me that physical work and work for money is not what he wants. I've been too focused on my part-time job, to earn money. I don't contribute my time to have a more intimate relationship with God. Also I reckon he helped me as I got out of english exam, wasn't very confident to do English...didn't study D: But yeah, a sign about money and focus on the important things, focus only on God everyday of my life!
Well, took long as to write with left hand...sigh, how do I write rest of my exams... :/
but nothing serious, I get work off and time to focus on bigger things! :) exams and God!
